This is a personal blog that serves as a miscellaneous collection of things I find cute, cool, interesting, and enraging.

I try to consider everyone/different perspectives and experiences when speaking, but I could always make a mistake, and educating myself is a constant process: I will be grateful rather than offended to have small-mindedness on my part pointed out. It's the only way I'll know to correct it.

Maybe check your shit before posting about it and reblogging it? Because it took 10 seconds on wikipedia to find out that Russell T Davies created Jack Harkness. That is why Russell T Davies is the head writer for Torchwood and Steven Moffat has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the show Torchwood. All I’m saying is that it seems really…. silly to write up a post like this without bothering to check that your idea is actually right. It is embarrassing to see how many notes this has.

(The Doctor hasn’t been nonwhite because the writers aren’t prepared to handle a DOC (Doctor of Color) dealing with historically accurate racism in the same way Martha had to. “Just act like you have the right to be here. Works for me”, uttered a white, male, well-dressed Ten to his black, female companion. He wouldn’t last ten minutes.)
